Because of her experience with her own health, Kristin believes in the power of music to uplift and heal anyone in need. The Mount Sinai Concerts for Patients, from 2015-2018, produced world-class concerts for patients, doctors, and staff at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Guest performers included internationally-recognized conductors, soloists, and ensembles.

Reeds are your friend

From 2011-2015, Reed Lizard was an international hub for purchasing reeds, learning about reed making techniques, and connecting with oboists worldwide. Since 2015 the brand continues as destination where oboists can ask Kristin anything about historical and modern reeds and a place where Kristin shares insights, tips, and tricks that she’s learned in over 20 years of making awesome reeds for any situation. Kristin has a history of dreaming big. She has imagined, planned, and produced everything from the smallest solo concert for nursing home residents to full scale staged operas.
